Jouke Hofman & Robert de Waard will be traveling to Montreal, Canada for the "Bitcoin Scalability Workshops” on September 12-13:

The purpose of this conference is to discuss the general trade-offs and requirements of any Bitcoin scalability solution, in light of the recent controversy surrounding the Bitcoin blocksize. Bitonic would like to contribute to this development through our experience and technical knowledge.

This event is a positive step forward for Bitcoin and it demonstrates the professional attitude of those involved. In addition to attending, Bitonic is also contributing by sponsoring this academic-style event.
