How do I provide proof of the source of my bitcoin?

You can prove the source of your bitcoin in various ways. Below are some documents we accept:

Purchases on other exchanges and brokers

  • Proof of purchase (e.g., a screenshot or invoice) and a bank statement showing the payment to the platform.

Profits on other exchanges and brokers

  • Proof of trading profits (e.g., a transaction history showing the amount, buy and sell price, or a P&L statement) and a screenshot of your account where your name is visible.

Mining

  • Proof of mining revenues (e.g., a screenshot of payments from a mining pool) and proof of mining equipment (e.g., an invoice or photos of the hardware). In some cases, we may also request an energy bill to verify operational costs.

If you can explain the source of your bitcoin in another way, that is also possible. However, the more complex the source (e.g., ICOs, NFTs, staking, airdrops, lending, or liquidity pools), the more thorough our investigation will be. Additionally, the documents provided must be proportionate to your deposits or sell orders.
