What is a proof of residence?

Proof of residence is a document that confirms where you live. This may be required to verify your address. We accept the following documents, provided they are not older than three months:

  • Energy or water bill;
  • Bill for TV, internet or landline phone;
  • Letter from the government (such as the Tax Authority or municipality);
  • Letter from your health insurance provider (e.g., an insurance policy);
  • Extract from the population register (Basic Registration of Persons, BRP);
  • Bank statement.

What must proof of residence include?

The document must contain the following information:

  • Your full name;
  • Your address;
  • The date of issue (not older than three months);
  • The sender (e.g., a company or institution).

Note:

  • We do not accept pay slips as proof of residence.
  • You may cover non-relevant personal information.
