How do I deposit bitcoin to my Bitonic account?

Sending bitcoin (BTC) to your Bitonic account is simple. Just follow these steps:

1. Log in: Login to your account. After logging in, you are always able to come back to your account overview by selecting 'Customer Service' followed by 'Account details'.
2. Go to your Portfolio: Click on 'Portfolio' on the left-hand side and select bitcoin.
3. Copy deposit address: Copy the address under deposit bitcoin using the clipboard icon. Alternatively, you can generate a QR code, which is convenient if you are using a desktop/laptop and have your bitcoin wallet on your mobile device.
4. Send bitcoin: Open your bitcoin wallet and select 'Send' to specify the amount of bitcoin you wish to deposit and paste the Bitonic deposit address you copied. Follow your wallet's steps to send your transaction to the bitcoin network. If you use an exchange navigate to Portfolio, select bitcoin and withdraw. Enter the amount of bitcoin and paste your Bitonic deposit address. Follow the steps of your exchange to send the bitcoins. Be aware that exchanges may impose a withdrawal fee.
5. Transaction Confirmation: After you sent the bitcoins you can track the transaction by going to latest transactions in the bitcoin tab in your portfolio. The transaction status will be 'Pending Confirmation' until it receives a network confirmation, after which it can be credited to your account.

Please make sure that you only sent bitcoins from your own wallet and via the bitcoin network to your Bitonic account! We can only facilitate transactions that are sent from your own wallet via the bitcoin network (BTC). This can be either a personal wallet or an exchange wallet (i.e. Kraken, Coinbase).
