How do I deposit euro to my Bitonic account?
Depositing euro to your Bitonic account is simple. Just follow these steps:
- Log in:
Login to your account. After logging in, you are always able to come back to your account overview by selecting 'Customer Service' followed by 'Account details'.
- Verify your bank account:
Make sure the bank account you intend to deposit with is added and verified in your account. It's crucial that the name on the bank account matches the name of the account holder. To add or verify your bank account, select 'Your bank accounts' on the left side. If your bank account hasn't been added or verified yet, click 'ADD IBAN' and follow the instructions to verify your bank account via a 1-cent transaction. A green checkmark next to your bank account signifies it's verified.
- Go to your portfolio:
Click on portfolio on the lefthand side.
- Choose deposit method: Enter the amount you wish to deposit in the bar underneath 'deposit euro'. Next select the payment method. Choose between iDEAL and SEPA and press 'Deposit euro'. iDEAL is a direct payment method for dutch bank accounts. SEPA is standard european bank transfer.
- Deposit euro: If you chose iDEAL select your bank and follow the instructions of your bank to complete the deposit. If you chose SEPA use the details provided and go to your bank account environment to transfer your deposit to our bank account. Important: Please use the correct description so the deposit can be credited to your account.
