High network fees

Due to a surge in demand for block space, fees for bitcoin transactions have increased drastically. Getting a transaction confirmed within a few blocks is now at record highs since the halving block was mined and the 'Rune Protocol' was launched.

Because of this increase in fee rate – from 10 satoshis per byte recently to an average of 1000 satoshis per byte now – we will be adjusting the withdrawal fee charged to you accordingly, based on the current market rates.

We are also extending the batching period from 10 minutes to 6 hours to use block space more efficiently. We will monitor the conditions over the coming days and might change both the withdrawals fees and batching period when necessary.

Please be aware that withdrawals may be more costly and take longer than usual.
