Update of our Terms and Conditions

At Bitonic, we continuously improve our services. To keep you informed about these changes, we have implemented updates to our terms and conditions. These apply to both individual and business customers.

Below, you will find the key changes to our terms.

Preparation for Target Orders

We have added terms and conditions for an upcoming feature called Target Orders. This new type of order allows you to set a buy or sell order at a specific bitcoin price. The order will automatically execute if your target price is met. We’re adding these terms now so that this feature can be made available when they're ready.

Closing of BL3P

We have removed all references to BL3P from our terms. Unfortunately, our bitcoin-only exchange was shut down last year due to the application process for MiCA (Markets in Crypto-Assets Regulation). We would like to thank everyone for supporting BL3P over the past 10 years.

New email provider

Previously, we used our own email servers to send all communications. While we still use them for account-related emails that may contain sensitive data, we’ve switched to Mailgun for informational mails like these terms updates. Our emails were often flagged as spam by email providers (likely because of the word "bitcoin"), so delivery rates suffered. This change ensures better reliability and has been added to our privacy policy.

We’ve gone to great lengths to ensure no tracking cookies are included, and we’ve completely disabled tracking functionality to respect your privacy.
